Hey, I’m Connor Jettner—co-owner of Desert Pine Arbor Care. I’ve been in the utility line clearance world for over five years, cutting trees around high-voltage lines and keeping power corridors safe across the region. Before that, I worked as a zipline guide, which is where I first found my love for working off the ground and being surrounded by trees.
I moved out to Central Oregon from Michigan back in 2016 and never looked back. I earned my associate’s degree in Outdoor Leadership from COCC, and since then, I’ve built a career that blends technical skills, safety, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
At Desert Pine, I bring a no-BS, get-it-done attitude to every job. I take pride in doing clean, efficient work and making sure our clients feel confident in the care we give their trees and property. This isn’t just a job—it’s a craft, and I’m stoked to be doing it every day with a solid crew and great clients.

Hey, I’m Patrick Heatherman—co-owner of Desert Pine Arbor Care. I was born and raised right here in Bend, Oregon, and the forest has always felt like home to me. Fitting, since my middle name is Forrest. From a young age, I was drawn to the outdoors, and that connection only grew stronger as I started working in fire, forestry, and tree care.
I spent several years fighting wildfires across the West, including a season with the Prineville Hotshot Crew, before transitioning into utility arborist work on high-voltage lines. That experience taught me the value of precision, safety, and hustle—skills I carry with me into every job we do at Desert Pine.
Starting this company was a way to bring everything full circle: my roots in Bend, my respect for the woods, and my passion for hands-on, meaningful work. I take pride in helping people care for their trees the right way—whether it’s technical removals, pruning, or hazard mitigation. This isn’t just a business for me—it’s personal.

We’re Connor and Patrick—two arborists with a shared passion for trees, hard work, and doing things the right way. After years working in wildfire, utility line clearance, and technical climbing, we started Desert Pine Arbor Care to bring top-tier tree service to Central Oregon without the fluff.
Between us, we’ve spent over a decade in the field—Patrick with a background in wildland firefighting and high-voltage utility work, and Connor with five years of line clearance experience and a degree in Outdoor Leadership from COCC. We’re not just business owners—we’re the guys showing up, climbing, cutting, and making sure the job gets done safely and professionally.
